Google Enhances “Find Hub” Tracker Network with Wood‑Level Positioning via UWB

Google has upgraded its tracking network—formerly called Find My Device and now rebranded as Find Hub—by rolling out Ultra Wideband (UWB) support. UWB provides significantly more precise tracking by delivering both distance and directional information, outperforming traditional Bluetooth-based tracking.

This upgrade also enables advanced functionality for the Moto Tag, allowing quicker and more accurate locating. However, its effectiveness hinges on compatibility with Android phones equipped with UWB chips, such as certain Pixel models and the Galaxy S25 Edge.
